The VMU Student Parliament will meet for the first meeting of the term of 2024-2025
The Student Parliament of Vytautas the Great University (VDU) will meet for the first meeting of this term already on December 3. 5 p.m. S. Daukant st. 28, in the 401 auditorium. During it, the new president of the Student Parliament will be elected and more work will be done.
Schedule of the meeting:
- Registration of meeting participants.
- Opening of the meeting of the VMU Student Parliament
- Elections of the secretary of the meeting of the Student Parliament of VMU.
- VDU Student Parliament vote counting committee elections.
- Approval of the meeting agenda.
- Presentation of activities and documents of VMU Student Parliament. (Presented by: Emilija Drabužinskaitė)
- Preparation of the next year's work plan and meeting grid of the VMU Student Parliament. (Presented by: Emilija Drabužinskaitė)
- Elections of VMU Senate student representatives. (Presented by: Emilija Drabužinskaitė)

The VMU Student Parliament is the highest body of Student Self-Government, which consists of student representatives of all faculties and study levels. During the parliament, the problems raised by students are considered, topical issues are discussed, positions of the organization (VDU SA) on higher education and other issues are prepared and approved, as well as elections for the most important positions are held by secret ballot. The President of the VDU Student Parliament, the President of the VDU SA, the Board and Audit are elected or dismissed, the activities and financial reports of the VDU SA are considered and approved, and new VDU SA documents are corrected or submitted.
