VDU STUDENT PARLIAMENT CONFERENCE: NEW DOCUMENTS AND IMPORTANT DECISIONS

VMU Student Parliament members are meeting for the third meeting of the 2025 term, which will be held on February 12 at 3 p.m. in S. Daukanto g. 28, auditorium 401. This meeting is special because it will approve some of the most important VMU SA documents that have a direct impact on the organization's activities and future decisions.

- Opening of the meeting of the VMU Student Parliament
- Elections of the secretary of the meeting of the Student Parliament of VMU
- Approval of the meeting agenda
- Approval of the minutes of the previous meeting of the VMU Student Parliament
- Discussion of problems of faculties and/or academies
- Approval of the draft changes to the accreditation description of the Student Representative Office of Vytautas Magnus University
- Approval of the draft Statutes and Rules of Procedure of the Student Representative Council of Vytautas Magnus University

The VMU Student Parliament is the highest Student Governing Body, consisting of student-elected representatives from faculties, academies and all levels of study. The Parliament resolves problems raised by student representatives and discusses issues relevant to students. The positions of the organization (VMU SA) on important higher education and other issues are also considered and formed, the Chairman of the VMU Student Parliament, the President of the VMU SA, the Board and the Audit are elected and dismissed by secret ballot. In addition, the VMU SA activity and financial reports are approved, and new VMU SA documents are also corrected or submitted.
