The State Study Fund announces the start of submitting loan applications-questionnaires

The State Study Fund (hereinafter - the Fund) announces the start of applications-questionnaires for receiving state-sponsored loans for the payment of tuition fees, living expenses and partial studies in accordance with international (interagency) agreements in the spring semester - 2017. March 13 (8 hours), end - 2017 April 7 (3 p.m.).

Students wishing to receive a state-supported loan will be able to submit electronic applications-questionnaires at the address https://studentai.vsf.lt/studentai/.

In the spring semester, the following state-sponsored loans will be provided to students:

  • loans to pay the cost of studies. The amount of this loan per year cannot exceed the annual tuition fee paid by the student or its part;
  • loans for living expenses (up to EUR 950);
  • loans for partial studies according to international (inter-agency) agreements (up to EUR 2,280 per year).

The right to receive state-sponsored loans is available to first-cycle, integral studies, second-cycle, third-cycle students of higher education institutions, as well as students studying in non-degree study programs.

The total amount of loans received by the borrower during all studies, excluding interest, cannot exceed EUR 14,630. Students wishing to receive a loan for the cost of studies who have already reached this limit can apply to the Foundation in writing for an increase. With the application, it is necessary to provide the Foundation with a certificate of higher education about the results of studies and the price paid by the student for studies. Requests for increasing the limit must be submitted before the end of the application-questionnaire acceptance period.

For students of Lithuanian higher schools in 2017 In the spring semester, state loans will also be provided to pay tuition fees. These loans can be obtained by students, until 2009. after enrolling in study places partially financed by the state.

It is planned that the lists of students for whom loan agreements are offered will be published in 2017. April 27
