The description of the scholarship awarding procedure has changed
February 5 The Senate of VMU approved the adjusted one Description of the scholarship awarding procedure, which entered into force from the date of its approval, therefore this document is used to award all types of scholarships from the beginning of the 2013-2014 spring semester.
The changes in the description of the procedure for awarding scholarships at VMU are related to several aspirations:
- to unify the definition of scholarships used at the university and in the Lithuanian student register, which contains information about scholarships awarded at the university;
- to adjust the incentive scholarship awarding system for students of the first semester of the first year of full-time study form taking into account the changes related to admission (since 2014 admission to the first cycle of studies and integrated studies, the admission score is calculated in a ten-point system);
- to adjust the procedure for payment of incentive scholarships, taking into account the methodology applied by the state, according to which the state allocates funds for the payment of incentive scholarships, and the resources available to the university.
