Tender for accommodation in VDU dormitories
The Student Affairs Office of Vytautas Magnus University announces a competition for living spaces in university dormitories 2014-2015 mm
Competition is published in accordance with the approval of the university by the rector of VMU description of the procedure for the administration of residences. The competition for first-year bachelors and integrated studies students will take place during the conclusion of study contracts with the university.
Tender conditions:
Residences in the dormitory are shared with VMU Student Representations gives approval Office of Student Affairs, taking into account the social situation of the students, therefore priority is given to acquire residences:
- for students who have been assigned guardianship (care) until they reach the age of majority according to the procedure established by law, or whose parents (they have only one parent) are dead;
- for disabled students, taking into account their level of work ability. If they need the help of an accompanying person, with the permission of the Director of Student Affairs, the accompanying persons can also live in the dormitory;
- for students who come from families with four or more children;
- for students whose family income per person is low.
The competition will be held until August 11 electronically through Information system for student accommodation in the dormitory (SABIS) must fill in:
- email application form;
- application attachment, e-mail by submitting relevant documents justifying the social/financial situation.
The tender application form and the accompanying documents are accepted only in electronic format. Paper documents are not accepted, except in individual cases where required Office of Student Affairs.
Important information:
A residence in a dormitory is not granted to residents of the city of Kaunas, and to residents of the Kaunas district only in exceptional cases, taking into account the complexity of the social situation.
