Competition for study and accommodation tax benefits

In implementing its mission as a socially responsible university, VMU announces the start of a competition for tuition and dormitory accommodation tax benefits for students in difficult social situations, as well as the conditions for submitting documents. These benefits are granted to students for the fall semester of the 2013/2014 academic year.

Students applying for a tuition fee exemption and/or a dormitory accommodation fee exemption in the autumn semester of the 2013/2014 academic year must submit the following documents to the Student Affairs Office (S. Daukanto g. 27–212) by September 13 of this year (inclusive):
• Special form application for tuition fee exemption or dormitory accommodation fee exemption. When applying for tuition fee exemption, the application form must be approved by the dean of the faculty in which the student applying for the exemption studies;
• Certificates confirming the social status of the student's family.

When applying for both tuition fee and dormitory accommodation fee benefits, it is sufficient to submit one copy of each required document (in this case, in the application to which the documents are not attached, it is necessary to note that they are attached to another application).

Students applying for tax relief under VMU student incentive system for participation in the University's scientific, artistic, creative, sports and/or social activities, should contact their activity manager for mediation.
