News from VMU rectorate
On this cold Wednesday morning, there was a meeting of the rector's office, which was attended by the president of our students' representation, Justinas Petkus. During the meeting, a cooperation agreement was signed, the works and proposals of the student rectorate were reviewed, and new bachelor's and master's study programs were discussed.
First of all, Rector Zigmas Lydeka signed a cooperation agreement between VMU and Kybarta Kristijonas Donelaitis Gymnasium. The works and proposals of the student rectorate were also discussed. The student rectorate was presented on November 15 during the international student day. The young rectors and vice-rectors did an excellent job and were positively evaluated in relation to the rector. Among other things, students submitted their suggestions and observations about what could be changed or corrected, of course, these observations will be taken into account.
This morning, the rectorate discussed new bachelor's and master's studies, as well as those that should be abolished or introduced. It is promised to introduce new international programs in the Faculty of Arts and a new master's program and a new study program in the Faculty of Humanities.
