News from VMU rectorate.

This morning there was a meeting of the rector's office, in which the president of our students' representation, Justinas Petkus, also participated. During the meeting, scholarships were handed out, contracts were signed, the topic of admission relevant to future students was discussed, as well as the project "Students, become a student" prepared by the student representative.

First of all, the Viktoras Kuprevičius scholarship was presented to the students of our university by the artistic lecturer of Vytautas the Great University, prof. Giedrius Kuprevičius. The university was also granted SKVC (Study Quality Assessment Center) institutional university and EUA (European University Association) international university accreditations.

During the meeting, Rector Zigmas Lydeka signed cooperation agreements with Omnitel, which supports university events and projects, CinemaAds UAB and Kaunas Cinema Studio.

Decisions relevant to future undergraduate and graduate students were also made. In 2014, pre-admission to the university is planned to start in March or April. Well, another good news for applicants is the news that it will be possible to sign the study contract online for those admitted to VDU.

At the meeting, the project "Students, become a student" that met everyone's expectations was praised. It was decided to continue the project in the spring of 2014 and, if possible, to increase the number of selected participants.
