The meeting of the VMU Student Parliament will be held on Thursday
Thursday, May 19, at 5 p.m. The meeting of the VDU Student Parliament will be held in the Small Hall of VDU (28 S. Daukanta Street). Parliamentary meetings are open to the public.
Meeting agenda:
- Registration of participants.
- Opening of the meeting of the Student Parliament.
- Elections of the vote counting commission.
- Elections of the secretary of the meeting of the student parliament.
- Approval of the minutes of the previous meeting and e-meetings held in between.
- Approval of the agenda.
- Due to Ieva Vengrovskaya's communication. Presented by: Justas Ivanauskas
- Regarding the outcome of the task force on the declaration of a climate emergency at the university. Presented by: a representative of the working group
- Regarding the removal of Justas Ivanauskas from the duties of a member of the VMU Student Parliament. Presented by: VDU SA Board

- Closure of the meeting of the Student Parliament.
The VMU Student Parliament is the highest governing body of students, which consists of representatives elected by students from faculties and academies and all study levels. In the parliament, problems raised by student representatives are resolved and issues relevant to students are discussed. Positions of the organization (VDU SA) on the most important issues of higher education and other issues are considered and formed, the President of the VDU Student Parliament, the President of the VDU SA, the Board and the Audit Committee are considered and approved by secret ballot. SA activity and financial reports and new VDU SA documents are corrected or submitted.
