Members of the VDU Student Parliament will gather for a remote meeting
February 9 at 7 p.m. a remote meeting of the VDU Student Parliament will be held. Parliament meetings are open, so anyone can join this meeting by clicking this link.
The agenda of the parliamentary session:
- Registration of participants
- Opening of the meeting of the Student Parliament.
- Elections of the secretary of the meeting of the student parliament.
- Approval of the minutes of the previous meeting and e-meetings held in between.
- Approval of the agenda.
- Request for VMU student social fund
- A discussion was organized in the Facebook group "VDU Studentų Parlamentas / VMU Student Parliament 21/22" regarding the declaration of a climate emergency at the university
- Presentation of the appeal of the VMU doctoral student club regarding foreign language learning opportunities
- Presentation of the application of the doctoral students' club of VDU for a scientific consultant for doctoral students
- Regarding the presentation of the reasons for the decision of the Appeals Commission and the student's right to further appeal the assessment of the Appeals Commission's appeal due to procedural violations
- Other questions
- Closure of the meeting of the Student Parliament.
The VMU Student Parliament is the highest governing body of students, which consists of representatives elected by students from faculties and academies and all study levels. In the parliament, problems raised by student representatives are resolved and issues relevant to students are discussed. Positions of the organization (VDU SA) on the most important issues of higher education and other issues are considered and formed, the President of the VDU Student Parliament, the President of the VDU SA, the Board and the Audit Committee are considered and approved by secret ballot. SA activity and financial reports and new VDU SA documents are corrected or submitted.
