VMU will host debates between MEPs and candidates for MEPs

On Thursday, March 20, at 11 a.m., an election debate of members of the European Parliament and candidates for the EP will be held at the Faculty of Political Sciences and Diplomacy of VMU (Gedimino St. 44-202).

Laima Andrikienė, Petras Auštrevičius, Zigmantas Balčytis, Daiva Matonienė, Radvilė Morkūnaitė-Mikulėnienė and others will participate in the debate. Moderator of the event - VDU prof. Dr. Mindaugas Jurkynas. The topic of the debate is the increasing importance of the European Parliament for the European Union and the EP elections in 2014.

The debate is organized by the Faculty of Political Sciences and Diplomacy of VMU together with the Information Office of the European Parliament in Lithuania and the Union of European Federalists in Lithuania. The event is open to the public - you are welcome to attend.
