Invitation to a different Spring Festival in 2021

"Self-realization through self-isolation" - this is the motto of the Spring Festival. The Student Representative Office of Vytautas the Great University (VDU SA) invites people to diversify their daily lives on May 12-15: to experience, to feel, to remember.

During the festival, the community of not only the university, but the entire city of Kaunas gathers for 20 years. This project stands out for its bright yellow color, mascot Vytautas Pavasaris, student initiative and a loud concert at the closing of the festival.

This year, the project will stand out even more. For more than a year, the world has been forced to stop, but the Spring Festival is definitely not! Taking into account the current restrictions, activities will take place in different ways: live (in city squares, parks, public spaces), remotely (Facebook live broadcasts, Zoom and MS Teams platforms) and "drive in", i.e. it will be possible to participate without leaving from the car.

This year, participants can expect creative workshops, dances, even several discussions on taboo topics, e-sports, social actions and the already mentioned concert that traditionally crowns the event.

Self-realization through self-isolation - let's discover ourselves, at a distance, being together, because quarantine is not an obstacle to experience bright spring adventures.
