The most memorable weekend awaits VDU freshmen

As every year, the Vytautas Magnus University Student Representative Office (VDU SA) organizes a camp for first-year students, "Balanced Freshmen". The camp will take place over two weekends - August 31-September 1 and September 7-8.

A new city and place of study, new faces and the realization that you are already a real student often cause anxiety and excitement. That is why VDU SA organizes a weekend during which freshmen will be able to get to know the university and the student movement, get to know their peers and older students. The participants of the camp will have the opportunity to take part in a memorable simulation, discussions, have fun and communicate throughout the weekend.

"I remember when I first entered the VMU, I felt very shy, but I participated in the first-year camp and it helped me to "tame" the university, - second-year law student Ieva Ožiūnaitė shares her impressions. "Here I met people who became my best friends, and I also learned about various opportunities and the activities of student organizations, in which I became actively involved."

One of the organizers of the camp, Monika Terzytė, reveals that only the best experiences await the first-year students at the camp: "Every year the camp is different, but we always try to ensure that the first-year students have the opportunity to get to know each other and the university through various activities, team games and entertainment. his environment."

She claims that the camp is open to everyone, so there won't be any mockery or nightmarish tests: "Our goal is the most memorable weekend full of the best emotions." Monika also emphasizes that the camp environment is adapted for students with disabilities.

The number of participants is limited, so the most original, most motivated, friendliest and funniest freshmen will enter it. The questionnaire can be filled out until August 20. (inclusive). The selected participants will be contacted personally before the start of the introductory week (August 26) at the phone number indicated in the questionnaire.
