"V2" is an opportunity to choose the best of the university
On March 13, at 6 p.m., in the Great Hall of Vytautas Magnus University (VDU), the best teachers, student organizations and initiatives of 2018 will be awarded. In the ceremony, which has become a tradition, members of the VDU community will reveal their talents, and a special guest will perform.
In the "V2" awards, the most important thing is the opinion of the students. It is they who propose nominees in the first round of voting, three of which go to the second round, where the winner is determined. Thus, each student can decide who will receive "Lecture of the Year", "Ambassador of the Year", "Organization of the Year" or other awards by casting their vote. A total of thirteen V2 statuettes will be awarded.
Every member of the VDU community can not only fill in the voting forms, but also reveal their talents. "Everyone who wants to perform during the awards has the opportunity to perform: both students, teachers and university teams", reveals Dominyka Kurklietytė, coordinator of the cultural committee of the VMU Student Representation. "The registration form will be made public soon, so everyone who wants to show their talent -ؘ is invited to fill it out."
D. Kurklietytė is happy that this is already the 10th "V2" awards: "The student representation takes this event very seriously - we want to make every member of the community happy, so we are preparing a special program that will not lack surprises."
