The first VDU Olympic flame "lit up"!

On November 16, the three-day Vytautas Magnus University Olympiad reached the finish line. This is the first such event organized by the Student Representative Office, the purpose of which is to promote active leisure time and bring together students from each faculty, thereby developing community spirit.

This year, the Faculty of Political Sciences and Diplomacy took first place. Students actively registered for events where it was necessary to demonstrate not only physical, but also mental abilities. Sports poker attracted a lot of interest, where more than 50 participants represented their faculty. Students also actively participated in brainstorming, table tennis and basketball tournaments. Football, tug-of-war, volleyball - did not leave anyone indifferent. Each representative of his faculty could choose from a wide range of events and show his abilities! The bravest and best collected points for their faculty, which were announced at the closing ceremony of the VDU Olympiad.

"This new initiative at Vytautas the Great University invited people to join teams and represent their faculty. We are very happy that the students believe in their university so much and support and represent their faculty in a cool way. We hope that the VMU Olympiad will become a continuous and traditional event", says the organizer of the event, Viktorija Šaulytė.

Thus, the Faculty of Political Sciences and Diplomacy, which won the first place, will be able to enjoy the main prize - 5 beanbags, which it established zigzag. All students of the faculty will be able to try these beanbags.
