In March - VDU theater premiere "Dance "Delhi"

March 4, 5 and 7 at 7 p.m. The premiere will take place in the VDU theater (27 S. Daukanto St.) - "Shokis Delhi" (dir. Agnius Jankevičius). The play "Dance in Delhi" by playwright, film and theater director Ivan Vyrypayev is seven short stories about a famous dancer and her environment, whose characters search for inner peace. On March 4, entry is free for VMU employees and students.

"I wrote the play trying to answer what connects us now, when everything is falling into small pieces. What connects my yesterday with today, my childhood, what I remember and don't remember, my tragedies, my happiness? Only one - me. […] I wanted to say that in order to survive in the modern world, it is necessary to realize that you and the world are one whole. You are that world, not just living in it. It seems to me that as soon as we understand this, we will immediately open up to each other and ourselves. Of course, tragedies will not disappear anywhere, but humanity will look at them differently," said I. Vyrypaev.

The director of the VDU theater premiere "Shokis Delhi" is Agnius Jankevičius. Set designer - Laura Luišaitytė. Starring: Gabrielė Aničaitė, Aleksandras Kleinas, Jūratė Onaitytė, Goda Piktytė, Ieva Savickaitė / Indrė Vėlyvytė. The music is performed by the group "Ripių kůrzelis".
