Malta - the party is on

Probably everyone has heard about Erasmus first of all thinks about the marathon of endless parties - this is partially true, if you want and most importantly you have enough health you can do it for five months stand up from the heart, but in expensive countries such plans need to be adjusted due to prices. So this time I will share my impressions about the fun nightlife and not only life in Malta.

Let's start

As soon as I arrived in Malta, I realized that students really like to have fun, I was already involved in the first day at the university International the whirlwind of the student welcome celebration, everyone around was smiling, the search for new friends began and all this was accompanied by a lot of good music and laughter. All started from this day Erasmus parties, already on the first night a sizable group headed to the club town Paceville. I can safely say that this party was absolutely crazy: everyone danced, had fun until dawn and met the sun together on the beach. It is symbolic, but it was after him that all other outings began.

All inclusive or when you don't have to worry about anything

It's cool that university organizations like the student body ESN, AEGEE makes sure that every week there are events or outings for Erasmus for students. Every Tuesday ESN organizes themed parties such as traffic light. The idea is simple: if you are free, you come with a green shirt, if the relationship is complicated, with a yellow one, if you are busy, with a red one, try to guess what color shirt was the most? Another memorable party with a great name call me maybe remembered for the idea. Everyone had to come with a white shirt and have a marker, if you liked the person - you could write down your number and extend the acquaintance. Karaoke nights are probably the most fun, if only because there were always up-and-coming or existing singers who boldly took the stage and sang until dawn. I wouldn't dare to say that all of them can do it, but I could definitely write a plus 10 for the effort. I still remember the slogan "Its not a Tuesday unless its an ESN Tuesday". Another organization AEGEE takes care of Thursdays, so after having fun on Tuesday, having recovered your strength on Wednesday, you can boldly plunge into fun Thursday. It's not just parties at your favorite Paceville, but also night trips. The very first excursion was to Valletta, the capital of Malta. But it wasn't just a simple boring tour with a guide, we were all divided into groups and had to find the treasure. Imagine Valletta at night and a group of students searching for clues all over the capital to find a hidden treasure, this night was one of the most interesting and memorable because I have never tried anything like this. Well, more excursions to various cities and towns, night walks around Gone rock, unreal Gozo a weekend where all the students lived in one big house for the whole weekend, got to know the island and clearly went wild until dawn. Well, now the boat trip to the famous is no longer beyond the mountains Blue Lagoon - a whole day of good music, swimming and really fun people - what more could you want.

Intellectual parties or something new

Now it seems that in Malta we only celebrate and go to another party every day, but this is not true, because the university student body takes care of our self-development and encourages us to participate not only in parties, but also in various conferences. Social actions and various events take place at the university every week. As the elections to the European Parliament approached, the student representation organized a meeting with the candidates. Although I am not a big fan of politics, I went to this event and was pleasantly surprised: the candidates willingly interacted with the students, and when they found out that I am not from Malta, they asked me many different things, comparing countries. Most recently, the health week was held, during which we had the opportunity to examine our health, learn and get practical advice on how to lose weight, how to fight acne, how to get rid of bad habits. Perhaps the biggest event held at the University of Malta was the Contemporary Arts Festival "Hercules" - he invited students who are interested in art to come, which lasted the whole weekend. Various performances, performances and numerous concerts attracted a considerable number of students. Well, to mark the end of another year, the university will be hosting a long holiday kick-off celebration that will start at the university and end on one of Malta's many beaches. One more super idea: there are a lot of events taking place at the university and so that you don't get lost or miss any of them, it is created apps - it is enough to download this application to your smartphone and that's it: in your hands is a guide to all the events taking place not only at the university, but also in Malta. Well, what if you are tired of spending time with others Erasmus you can organize your own party or go to various festivals held every month. I just recently attended a strawberry festival - I've probably had my fill of these treats for at least a few months. I was pleasantly surprised by the fact that here you could find everything made from strawberries: ice cream, wine, cakes, juices, salads, cheeses, etc. And where are the carnivals... It feels like every city, town or village has its own celebration and likes celebrate as loud as possible. The fireworks festival is about to start - all I've heard is that there will be lots of lights and sound, and that I've never seen fireworks like this in my life.

Walking parties or how to survive with the Spanish

I've never been much of a party person, but here in Malta that all changed within the first few months: at the end of every week I'd go to Paceville and I used to dance until dawn, I tried all the clubs and now I have a few favorites. But after a few months, I felt a bit tired of going to clubs every Friday, so I took a break, although that doesn't mean I'm not having fun. I live in a Spanish house (only me and my roommate are non-Spanish) - as you know, it's a fun nation that likes to celebrate everything and always. I don't know where they get so much health from... Their parties last for days and I can describe it as party hard type parties. You can only dream about normal sleep, and only those who are swollen boutiques do not mock angrily. Even while watching football matches, Spaniards prepare a lot of food, eat, drink and shout loudly. I will not comment on what happened after the probably epic competition Real vs Barcelona. More than once, when I returned home, I found a surprise in the name "We will celebrate the holiday." As you can understand, I live really happily and every day here is like a holiday. So far I'm fine with it and enjoying it, but exams are coming up, which means fun will have to be put on hold for a while.
