"Granatine music battles" starts!

Starting tomorrow, three Wednesdays in a row - June 4, 11 and 18. - the music festival "Granatos Live" will invite fans to the "Granatinės muzik kovas|", during which the festival-goers themselves will decide what they want to see on the stage of the young performers of the "NESCAFÉ" festival. "Muzikos trikovės" will take place in the courtyard of the "Lietuvos teatro, muzik ir kino museum", better known to Vilnius residents as "PianoMan Outside" (Vilniaus St. 41, Vilnius).

Tomorrow, in the first round of "Granatinės muzik kovos" the young representatives of jazz group "In albedo", the rock music project "Pilnatys" and the "Mood Seller Band" playing pipes and drums will fight for the attention of the fans.

The group "In albedo" consists of three creative personalities - vocalist, keyboard player, composer and lyricist Ieva Marija Baranauskaitė, guitarist Artūras Ševiakovas and drummer and percussionist Viktoras Krasauskas. Although the group officially introduced itself only last year, the jazz trio has been making music and creating together since 2011 and has already managed to perform successfully at the "VOLT" and "Vilnius Jazz" festivals.

"Pilnatys" group - in 2013 a rock music project was created, consisting of vocalist and guitarist Marius Meiliūnas, guitarist Mantas Meškys and drummer Kristupas Kmitas. Calling itself a "psychedelic" movement, the band is strictly against routine and gray everyday life, and music fights against this "evil". The movement believes that in our time there is no better place to feel togetherness, meaningfulness, and life than a concert. The trio combines the hypnotic sounds of the night and sky with the industrial rhythms of concrete cities. They are constantly experimenting, trying to get a psychedelic, lunar sound with the help of old blues, jazz and rock elements.

"Mood Sellers" - eight young people blowing pipes and beating drums, who almost always "make" a good disco, manage to turn on the "crazy supermegacool" mood and no matter what style of party it is, there is no one indifferent to the music of Mood Sellers. "Because our approach to music is universal, the musical sounds we make make everyone's feet and hands move," say the band members.

During each battle-concert, the audience will vote on which two bands or artists they think performed the best, and they will enter the NESCAFÉ Young Artists Stage at the Granatos Live festival. A total of six groups will be selected during the "Granatine Music Battles". The seventh will be revealed during a separate vote on the social network Facebook.

August 1-3 The "Granatos Live" music festival, which will be held on the territory of the Rumšiškių Museum, will have four stages where more than 30 performers and groups from abroad and Lithuania will perform. At the festival, it will be possible to hear the sensation of the year, the British group "Bastille", one of the brightest stars of the young generation from Great Britain, John Newman, a very popular street artist in Lithuania and a performer in the world - the Australian Dub FX, probably the most popular Latvian duo "Instrumenti", the best Lithuanian hip-hop group " G&G Sindikatas", the "gods" of electronic music - the groups "Golden Parazyth" and "Electronic I", the future of Lithuanian music "Colours of Bubbles" and "Garbanotas Bosistas" and many more artists and groups.
