New Senate members and student representative elected to the council

On October 7, the Student Parliament of Vytautas Magnus University (VMU) held a meeting at which important decisions were made regarding student representation in the university's governing bodies.
During the meeting, Eigirdas Sarkanas was confirmed as the student representative of the VMU Council. The voting results were extremely unanimous - 21 parliamentarians voted for the candidate, none voted against, and 1 member abstained.
Following this decision, a vote was held on student representatives to the VMU Senate. The parliamentarians elected the following representatives:

Evelina Buivydaitė (22 votes in favor)
Aras Rafanavicius (21 votes in favor)

Emilija Drabužinskaitė (21 votes in favor)
Kamila Žiliūtė (19 votes in favor)
Deimante Zarambaitê (21 votes in favor)

The newly elected representatives will represent the interests of students in the activities of the Senate and Council, contribute to the adoption of the university's most important strategic decisions, and promote a more open dialogue between students and the administration.
