VDU freshmen - free LSP
Lithuanian student card (LSP) is the only official document in Lithuania that proves student status. The price of the certificate ranges from 6 to 20 euros, depending on the level of study. However, this year, on the initiative of the Vytautas Magnus University Student Representation (VDU SA), all 2020 For VMU first-year students who have concluded a study contract with the university, the LSP will be produced free of charge (after filling out the registration form located www.lsp.lt until this year October 31).
"Students who have started their studies experience a lot of financial expenses, so we are glad that after various discussions the university accepted our proposal to finance the purchase of LSP for first-year students," says VDU SA president Paulius Vaitiekus. According to him, the use of LSP is very wide not only in university spaces, but also to obtain various discounts and benefits, so the opportunity to save without paying for a certificate will provide real benefits to students.
The LSP is required for admission to study subjects, mid-term settlement and examination, and for control of entrance to the dormitory, using the services of the University Library, to travel by intercity public transport 50 % cheaper, and by city public transport - even up to 80 % cheaper, to participate in the discount program, which allows you to use discounts for purchases , entertainment and various services throughout Lithuania (you can find a list of discounts on the website www.lsp.lt).
