CORRECT WASTE MANAGEMENT. WHAT CAN NATURE, MAN AND THE STATE WIN?

VšĮ "Mes Darom" together with the Ministry of Environment of the Republic of Lithuania and the consulting company UAB
"Ekokonsultacijos" organizes a seminar in Kaunas on correct waste management. Seminar participants
will have the opportunity to discuss with the Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Environment of the Republic of Lithuania Almantas
Petkumi, waste management companies, Kaunas RATC representatives, and independent waste management
experts.
Seminar topics.
We will provide participants with important knowledge about the regional waste management system and its specifics,
responsible institutions, we will introduce the rights and responsibilities of the residents, we will name the real one
economic benefits of sorting.

Discussion.
The major part of the seminar is dedicated to the discussion with the speakers of the seminar and the Ministry of Environment of the Republic of Lithuania
Deputy Minister Almantas Petkums. During it, we will aim to:
- to find out what problems and questions regarding waste management are faced in the region;
- to answer all questions raised by the participants;
- to disprove the myths created in the society about waste sorting;
- to achieve real changes and solutions after the seminar (during seminars in other cities there were
a change was achieved when, after the seminars, such issues as the order around began to be effectively resolved

teachers and students, representatives of housing associations and communities, waste managers, municipalities
