Become the President of the Student Union!

Vytautas Magnus University Student Representative Office (hereinafter VDU SA) invites you, a determined student, to become a representative of all VDU students! All you need to do is gather the support of fifty students and convince them why you should become the president.

The president of VDU SA is the head of the representative office, coordinating and planning its activities. The main duties of the president are to represent students in the VMU Rectorate, Senate and University Council. This representative also participates in ethics commissions, convenes VDU SA Parliament meetings and acts on behalf of the entire VDU SA.

"These are particularly responsible positions that require a lot of time. But at the same time, it is a place where you can gain invaluable experience, and when you solve even the smallest problems of one or more students, you feel inner satisfaction. Performing the direct duties of the president redeems all the time spent and the stress experienced." - the current president of VDU SA, Eigirdas Sarkanas, shares his experience.

The candidate for the post of VDU SA president is registered by the chairman of the VDU SA election commission. The candidacy of the president must be supported by at least 50 students. Applicants' applications with student signatures should be brought to the Student Representation (S. Daukanto st. 27-202) by March 1, 5 p.m. to the current president - Eigirdas Sarkan.
