Rectorate meeting

On the morning of December 17, the last rectorate meeting of the year took place, in which the president of the Vytautas Magnus University Student Representation (VDU SA) Justinas Petkus took part.

During the meeting, an agreement was signed with representatives of "Voluntarius" on cooperation in the field of volunteering. Also during the recording, further participation in the Campus Europae network was discussed, the draft procedure for the admission of foreign students to VDU and the regulations of the VDU chamber orchestra were approved. The study program of Andragogy was presented and it was proposed to provide a new group B subject "Introduction to media studies", which would be taught in English.

The rector emphasized that VMU will continue to organize studies based on liberal arts principle. There is also good news for students of the Faculties of Social Sciences and Law - from January, bus 4 will take them to the unit located on Jonava Street.
