A meeting with Gediminas Jaunius of the non-traditional lecture series "Me, beer and teacher".
Is a glass of beer the first association that pops into your head when you hear the word "lecture"? No? Laughter? Rarely? This means that you have not yet had the opportunity to participate in the meetings of the non-traditional lecture series "Me, beer and the teacher".
For several years in a row, these much-loved lectures have attracted crowds of students and even passers-by. VMU Rector Zigmas Lydeka, Lithuanian Minister of Education and Science Gintaras Steponavičius, VMU lecturer and member of the European Parliament Leonidas Donskis and other famous people both at our university and throughout Lithuania invited to discuss bold and engaging topics over a glass of beer.
Continuing the season of these meetings, the VDU Student Representation invites you to participate in this unique event this Thursday (October 24) from 6 p.m. In the attic of "Punto Jazz" (Kęstučio St. 6). This time, students will have the opportunity to chat in an informal environment with Gediminas Jaunis, a well-known Lithuanian public figure, television producer and Vytautas the Great University lecturer. The topic of the unconventional lecture is "The Virtues and Sins of Television".
"Me, beer and the teacher" is a great opportunity to establish relations with the teacher, discuss the most unusual topics, get to know each other better and have fun with the Student Representative Office and members of the VMU community. All you have to do is circle this day in red on your calendar and don't miss this extraordinary meeting. So let's see each other this Thursday at 18:00. Punto Jazz Attic.
