Me, beer and the teacher

On October 21, the already traditional VMU event ''Me, Beer and Teacher'' took place at the Republic bar in Kaunas. Alfredas Chmieliauskas, the rector of ISM University of Economics and Management, shared his ideas and useful advice with students.

This evening, the audience was very active and had many questions related to science reforms, when to study for a bachelor's degree and when it is better not to take a master's degree, and what the rector thinks about studying abroad. Alfredas Chmieliauskas spared no effort in giving advice and examining the main educational issues relevant to students.

Topics such as what a student should be like to be successful, whether the rector has his own authority, and what kind of beer he likes were also touched upon.

"It doesn't matter which specialty you choose in life, the most important thing is that whatever you choose, you are the best in your field," ISM Rector Alfredas Chmieliauskas shared advice.

The public lecture series "Me, Beer and the Teacher" attracts groups of interested students in an informal setting. It is not only an opportunity to discuss current topics, but also to get to know the teachers and famous people better.
