"Student, Be a Student" is back!

The project "Students, become a student" (MPS) organized by Vytautas Magnus University (VDU) Student Representation is back after a four-year hiatus! During the activities that will take place on February 14-18, students of grades 10-12 will have the opportunity to try out the student routine, the desired study program and the university.

In the project, students from various Lithuanian schools will get to know VMU study subjects, teachers, university environment and student organizations. During 5 working days, students will learn not only how students can sit for 90 minutes. lecture, but also what VMU's associate studies are or what VMU's liberality and learning model mean Liberal arts. Throughout the project, mentors selected from the VMU Student Representation will help the students and share their experience.

The current VDU SA president Ieva Vengrovskaja participated in the last "Teacher, become a student" (MPS) project organized by VDU SA, who responded about the project with a big smile on her face: "I was a 4th grade student at the Vilnius Gymnasium, not even thinking about studying in Lithuania, but wanting to study abroad. The director of my school, who offered me to participate in this project, probably did not even imagine how this project would change my future." Ieva says that during the project she got to know the teachers and students of the program she wanted to study and made friendships that continue to this day, and unexpectedly found herself at VMU He saw the meaning of the organization's activities in the student representation.

Students usually think about how to pass the matriculation exams as best as possible, but they lack ways to familiarize themselves with the activities and learning opportunities after school. If you are still thinking about what you would like to study or, on the contrary, you already know your future plans - MPS is a great opportunity to learn about the study program of interest not only theoretically, by reading the program description on the Internet, but also to try it in practice - by participating in the study process and informal activities.

Until January 9 students can fill out a questionnaire and write a motivational letter, thus expressing their desire to participate in the project.
