News from VMU rectorate

This Wednesday morning, there was a meeting of the rectorate, in which the president of our students' representation, Justinas Petkus, also participated. During the rectorship, a certificate was presented to the university, a cooperation agreement was signed, scholarships were awarded, the new term student rector and his team were introduced, and VšĮ "VSU Business Praktikų centras" was discussed.

First of all, our university was awarded an ISO (UAB "Bureau Veritas Lit") quality certificate, which testifies that our university has achieved another international assessment.

VMU also signed a cooperation agreement with Kaunas Antanas Smetonas Gymnasium and professor Broniaus Vaškelis scholarships were awarded to students of the Departments of Theater Studies and Lithuanian Literature. The members of the rectorate also discussed the possibility of establishing the VšĮ "VDU Business Practitioner Center".

During the rectorship, a new student rector, or rather the rector, Dominyka Naujokaitė, and her student team of vice-rectors and deans were introduced. This team of students will fill the positions of the university board as early as this Friday. They will have the opportunity to participate in rectorate meetings and government activities throughout the year. During this rectorship, the rector herself had the opportunity to speak in place of the current rector, Zigmos Lydeka.
