Atidunda comes at lightning speed... WHAT?

When the weather is nice outside, I think most people dream about how fun it would be to stay in shape in the fresh air instead of sweating in the gym. However, not everyone has the opportunity and ideas on how to do it. Of course, there are many possible options: cycling, walking, exercise machines in parks and other places, or all sorts of similar things. On the other hand, nothing will replace what makes you work hard. What requires a lot of strength and sweat. What am I talking about here? Well, it was created quite recently, just 2 centuries ago. Naturally, the question arises for you: WHAT? Although everyone already knows the answer, because it is simply ingrained in Lithuanians' blood, I will still stretch your nerves a little so that you turn your heads and think for yourself. Although… spring, there is a lot of work, everyone is in a hurry everywhere, there is no time, you are reading this newspaper after a rest and I am not letting you relax yet. Well, I'll be sorry and say: yes, yes, this is the basketball we all love! And we can thank the Canadian James Naismith for the fact that this game exists and that we know it. Why? Because it gives us such a burst of various emotions, allows us to experience a lot in that short time of four quarters, sets the mood for a fight or even gives hope. And all this fits into one word - basketball. And now straight to the point: "Spring Festival". Basketball tournament 3×3. The heat of mid-May. Have you heard anything? And you should, because otherwise don't tell anyone about it, because they will laugh you to death! But I will be that kind-hearted person who helps everywhere and always and will tell you what to do and what will happen here. So May 14th at 11 a.m. You are very welcome. S. Daukantos st. (in front of the Metropolis Hotel). Why? As I mentioned, you are in for a time of the best emotions and experiences, participating in street basketball tournament "PF 3×3"„. You just need to bring two more friends (and one spare player), register online (if you don't, you will have the opportunity to do it on site) - that's all. Play, fight and win, because in addition to the mineral water that you will receive (you need to refresh yourself, after all), cool prizes are waiting for you, but in my opinion, the most important thing is to participate and have a good time, and everything else will come by itself. By the way, regarding the rules and the like, everything will be announced before the competition, so don't worry, you will definitely find out. Well, what am I here for... Maybe you don't want to participate in such a fun tournament at all (is that possible?!), but just want to come and watch or support your friends? That's not a problem! There will also be something to do for passers-by, families of participants or support teams: there will be a separate basket where everyone can throw. Although I think that participating in the tournament itself would be much more fun than watching everything from the sidelines. So call your various friends (there is no age, gender, or nationality limit, EVERYONE can participate), form a team (or maybe even several, it feels good to compete against your friends, huh?) and, I repeat, on May 14 at 11 am (remember!) we will be waiting for you near the student square. So, go ahead and see you at the "Spring Festival" basketball tournament!

PS Don't forget your clothes, you won't be running around in your pants, right? Also, take a good mood with you, because this is one of the most important things when participating. And we promise you good weather and a more than great tournament, because the organizational team is in a particularly fighting mood and is ready to organize an unforgettable event, so that the impressions experienced that day will remain for a long time and next year you will be looking for this tournament yourself, without receiving news from abroad about it, you won't even need this type of article, because the "Spring Festival" basketball tournament "PF 3×3" will speak for itself!

Tournament coordinator Karolis Gliožaitis:

  • Erasmus in Malta

Erasmus is gaining momentum or a month here It's hard to believe that I have already spent one month in my paradise, Malta, time flies so fast, it seems that I only recently arrived here and got used to the vacation-like life. Now, like a true Maltese woman, I stop the bus, scold the irresponsible driver, if I sprawled on the floor again, when he suddenly brakes (it's good that my parents insured me before leaving)...

A university that... doesn't celebrate As spring approaches, more and more people want to think about vacations, friends and holidays. Still being a temporary student at the University of Tampere, I decided to find out what traditional events the university organizes every year. I asked several Finnish friends and none of them could give me a definite answer. “Well, we have something like induction week for the freshmen, where they get organized quite often…
