PARTICIPATE: Contest for the most eloquent scientific talents

Do you like to talk about science and want to inspire others? Would you be able to get any listener interested in science? The "Fame Laboratory" competition organized by the British Council is looking for students and young scientists who are interested in science communication and want to share their passion for science with the whole world!

"FameLab" is an international competition designed to discover the most eloquent scientific talents who are able to answer even the most complex questions about science in a simple and interesting way. All students and young scientists representing the fields of biomedical, physical, technological and agricultural sciences can participate in the competition.

WHY ATTEND?

  • You will strengthen your public speaking skills;
  •  I participated in trainings with the most famous science communication specialists: BBC Radio 4 journalist and presenter of the program "The Material World" Quentin Kuper and master of public speaking, actor Andrius Žebrauskas;
  •  You will expand your circle of acquaintances and get to know scientists and like-minded people from various fields;
  • I won prizes from the sponsors of the competition. The audience favorite winner will receive a Philips Slim LED TV;
  •  You will become the winner, I will go to the Cheltenham Science Festival in the United Kingdom and represent Lithuania at the international stage of the competition!
