A nominal annual scholarship for a student of the Faculty of Law

On Wednesday, October 9, during the VMU rector's meeting, the 4th-year student of the Faculty of Law, Justa Adomaityte, was awarded the annual scholarship of the professional association of lawyers "Magnusson and partners" for her progress and social activity.

During the meeting, VMU Faculty of Law Dean Prof. Dr. Julija Kiršienė noted that the university has been closely cooperating with the law firm "Magnusson and partners" (formerly - "Nordia Baublys & Partners") for the fourth year already. "Our alumni who work in this community annually provide financial support to the Faculty of Law, half of which is allocated to a scholarship - to receive it is not only a great honor, but also a great financial benefit. I think that these graduates educate other future graduates who will contribute no less to the Faculty of Law", said the dean of the faculty.

"Magnusson and partners" awards the scholarship not only for good academic results, but also for social activities and contribution to the Faculty of Law. According to the partner of this bar association, Evaldos Rapolos, a graduate of the first program of the Faculty of Law, the purpose of the scholarship is to encourage students, to train them so that in the future they themselves contribute to the achievements of the university they have graduated from.

"What do we remember when we graduate?" Is it just the way we went to lectures?... I would say no - I myself remember that we engaged in active social activities during our study years. Today's goal is for the students themselves to get involved in those activities, to contribute to the faculty and to grow out of them into well-known lawyers or businessmen", E. Rapolas explained the purpose of the support.

This year, the scholarship was awarded to Justa Adomaityte, a fourth-year student at the Faculty of Law. "For me, as a student, this is a very high evaluation, which forces me to try even harder, improve and continue to aim for my goals. I am very flattered and grateful," said the laureate.
