Discounts for study and accommodation fees

Vytautas Didijos University, implementing the mission of a socially responsible university, announces a tender for preferential fees for studies and accommodation in the university dormitory for the spring semester of the 2014-2015 academic year.

Students who want to apply for tax benefits from January 26. must be completed by February 14 electronic application form by submitting electronic ones in it relevant documents copies proving the social situation of the student's family.

Tax benefits, given according to the semester A description of the procedure for granting VDU tax benefits and awarding compensations, are of two types:

  • Study fee relief can be granted to VMU students who:
    • complex social situation
    • the subjects studied in the last session, after evaluating the credits, have an average of at least 8 points
  • Accommodation fee relief may be granted based on the student's:
    • social status
    • residence in a dormitory.

Students can be granted tax benefits of up to 100 % in the form of a competition. They are allocated in the order of priority:

  • for students who have been assigned guardianship (care) until they reach the age of majority according to the procedure established by law, or whose parents (have only one parent) are dead;
  • for disabled students, taking into account the current level of work ability;
  • for students from families with 4 or more children, if they are minors; is studying in a general education program or, if over 18 years old, is studying in a formal vocational training program or is studying at a higher education institution;
  • students based on family income per person.

Important information

  • Students who do not have social exclusion, that is, those students whose family income per person is low, can apply for only one benefit - tuition or accommodation fee - and therefore have the opportunity to fill out the form only once.
  • The application for a tuition fee for disabled students with work ability level 0-45% will be considered depending on whether the student has applied State Study Fund to provide A state-backed loanto pay the tuition fee, which can be granted to disabled students on a non-refundable basis.

The results of the study and accommodation fee concessions competition will be announced by February 28, informing each student who applied for the concession by e-mail specified email in the application form and on the university website.
