Students are invited to apply for the post of VDU SA president

Every student of Vytautas Magnus University (VDU) who cares about the interests of university students, their academic and social well-being, is invited to apply for the position of president of the VDU Student Representation (SA). Applications are accepted until February 27.

The president is elected by the VMU Student Parliament for a one-year term. The main functions of the President are to lead and coordinate SA activities, to act on behalf of VMU SA and to represent the organization without special powers, to participate in VMU Rectorate and Council meetings. The head of the representative office also participates in ethics commissions, convenes VDU SA Parliament meetings, forms working groups to fulfill certain obligations, etc.

"The activities of the president require responsibility and time," says Greta Šmaižytė, chairperson of the Board of VDU SA. - We hope that students who want to be actively involved in academic and social processes at the university and contribute to the development of student welfare will get involved in the election process and submit their candidacy."

The candidacy of the president must be supported by at least 50 students. Candidate applications with student signatures, annual activity guidelines and motivational letter must be submitted to VDU SA Board by February 27. at 5 p.m. Documents are accepted at the VMU Student Representation (27-202 S. Daukanto St.).
