Rotary Academy 2016

Kaunas Rotaract club invites you to register for the traditional project "Rotary Academy 2016". The main goal of the project is to encourage young people to become successful and responsible citizens of society.

In the "Rotary Academy" young people are given the opportunity to meet and communicate with company managers, entrepreneurs or professionals in their fields in an informal environment. This year, Egidijus Trumpa, general director of UAB Eurokornus, Mindaugas Grigelis, general director of UAB Kauno bussai, and Kęstas Moroza, director of UAB Nemuno Baldai, became mentors of the Kaunas Rotary Club.

At the Rotary Academy, students do not learn from textbooks, but from the examples of successful entrepreneurs, professionals in their field, and recognized authorities in society," says Arnas Peckevičius, the organizer of this year's Rotary Academy and representative of the Kaunas Rotaract club.

During the project, students will meet individually with mentors in an informal environment and discuss relevant topics and seek answers to their questions. Participants will also have the opportunity to participate in guest lectures and seminars, during which various guest professionals will share their experiences.

The "Rotary Academy" is unique in that the student is given the chance to get acquainted not only with active, promising and inspiring peers, but also to communicate with recognized authorities in society - members of "Rotary" clubs. I can safely say that the mentor helped me to answer not only professional questions, but also helped me to solve various life situations. Over time, my mentor and I became friends and we communicate with him to this day, says Martynas Asakavičius, alumni of Rotary Academy, current president of Kaunas Rotaract club.

Registration for the "Rotary Academy" project takes place in 2015. December 1 - in 2016 February 1 address http://www.rotaryakademija.lt/registracija/ . The organizers will select 20 participants from all those willing to participate, taking into account the candidates' motivation and desire to gain invaluable knowledge.

The Kaunas Rotaract club is an international non-political youth organization that promotes leadership and responsible citizenship, recognizes high ethical standards in business, and strives for understanding and peace among nations.
