A bold statement of the VDU Spring Festival

On May 9-10, the "Spring Festival" of the Vytautas Magnus University Student Representative Office (VDU SA) returns to Kaunas. The slogan of the event proclaims - if you want, you can!

This means that life in a free country is full of possibilities, inspired by the most unexpected desires. Unfortunately, they are sometimes constrained by stereotypes, fears or prohibitions. "Spring Festival" will prove that you can express your emotions boldly and enjoy freedom.

Sports events held at the festival will delight fans of basketball, table tennis, mini golf and even Quidditch. Creative workshops will include yoga classes, a henna tattoo parlor and a laboratory for unexpected experiments. Entertainment and recreation areas will be open throughout the festival. The first evening of the festival will be warmed by bonfires and the acoustic music concert "Pavakarys", and the whole festival will be crowned by an impressive closing concert with the most beloved Lithuanian artists and bands.

"We will not forget citizenship at the festival, because this year is dedicated to the centenary of the restoration of the Lithuanian state and the memory of the partisan Adolf Ramanauskas - the Hawk," says the organizer of the event, Dominyka Kurklielytė, "therefore, the lectures of famous people and all the activities of the festival will be connected by this theme."

"Spring Festival" is an ongoing project of VMU Student Representation, organized since 2001. In this event, not only the VDU community gathers, but also all residents and guests of the city of Kaunas.
