"I remember the Baltic Way. I remember that we left early in the morning, how big the traffic was, how excited and determined everyone was. Later, I never saw such intense feelings and such a strong determination to ACT. For me, I Choose to Teach! is a chance to relive all those feelings and more. It's an opportunity, instead of passively observing, to stand up, leave the role of a helpless victim and change the world", - Rita Urbonaitė-Krulikovska (RM2), art and technology teacher.

Why is it worth it?

The program "I choose to teach!", tested in Lithuania and based on international experience, created a unique model of attracting, selecting and professional support of young teachers, which is implemented through cooperation between education and business. Program participants work in schools for two years, helping each student to achieve the best possible learning results, receive continuous training and individualized professional support. After two years in the "I choose to teach!" class, the participants become leaders bringing change in education and society. The program has been operating in Lithuania since 2008, it is implemented by the Public School Improvement Center.
