Quit school for a week!

The project "Students, become a student!" is taking place for the tenth year in a row, during which students from all over Lithuania have a great opportunity to see their studies up close: to choose the studies they like from all the study programs offered by Vytautas the Great University. Students will also be able to see the quality of higher education, get involved in university activities, attend lectures together with students and gain invaluable experience.

The main goal of the project is to acquaint 10-12th grade students with the selected study programs, new people, teachers and university procedures. Project participants will not only attend selected lectures, but will get to know employees of various services, heads of organizations and their activities, other students from various parts of Lithuania, and members of the Student Representative Office. Students will also be given a tour of the university premises and the city of Kaunas, as well as other entertainment. Throughout the project, participants will be accompanied by mentors who will answer any questions and help them not get lost in the university spaces.

"This project was a very good experience and I was surrounded by wonderful people. It is definitely worth participating in "Student, be a student" for those who have not yet decided on their future and do not know where to study. It's a pity that you can participate in this project only once", - shares the memories of the eleventh grader of Alytus Jotvingiai Gymnasium Džiuginta Vaščilaitė.

The further you go, the more important this project becomes. This provides an opportunity for students who participated in the project and are entering Vytautas the Great University to receive an additional 0.5 points to the total competitive score by applying for a place not financed by the state (vnf) outside the LAMA BPO system.

The "Student, become a student" project will take place on March 6-10, 20-24 and April 3-7.

Registration is open until February 18 inclusive!

Participant's fee for meals is €5.

Those selected will be contacted personally.
