  1. How do you feel about coming to Lithuania?

I am very excited but also a bit nervous about coming to Lithuania. It is the first time for me to step out of Asia and to explore the other side of the planet. During this precious semester I wish to learn a lot from the classes and also experience the European life style.

  1. How do you imagine Lithuania?

New, adventurous, and unpredictable.

  1. What do you think will be most difficult in Lithuania for you?

First of all, I will say the weather because I am from the subtropical zone and it is sunny half of the year. Then, it might be the language barrier... but I heard people in Lithuania speak good English?

  1. Why did you choose Lithuania for your studies?

I have always wanted to go to Europe. When I applied there weren't many options and then I saw... Lithuania! That could be interesting! Back in school, our impression on Lithuania was that it's one of the three Baltic countries, but I believe it must be more than that. If I miss this opportunity to come, I don't know when the next time will be!

  1. Name five things, which you are going to miss from Taiwan.

My family and friends, my dog, 24/7 convenient stores, bubble tea, and hot pot.

  1. What are your hobbies?

I like to cook in my free time. But if I have enough money and time, traveling to see the world will be my biggest hobby.

  1. Could you tell me the recipe you love cooking the most?

You will need onion or garlic, eggs, (overnight frozen) rice, sandwich ham (1×1 square cm) and corn. First you need to scramble the eggs until half done and put it aside. After this, chop garlic or onion and put it in a hot pan with whatever kind of oil. Stir fry it until the odder comes out. Then put in the ham and fry it a bit then put the corn. When all the ingredients are well blended. Put the rice in. Mix everything and stir until the moisture evaporates. Then put the scrambled eggs in and mix well. And the last thing - put a pinch of pepper and salt. Don!

  1. Name top three countries you would like to visit?

This is difficult… (laughing) For now, since I will be in Europe, it will be Germany, Poland, and Spain.

  1. Why these countries: Germany, Poland and Spain?

Oh, I have some friends who used to be exchange students at my home university. They are from Germany and Poland. And Spain... It's because of Barcelona, I want to see Antoni Gaudi's creation.

  1. How do you imagine yourself in 10 years?

I have never thought about that actually... But I wish I would have a job that allows me to travel around.

  1. In conclusion, what could you say for "Studies" readers?

Hello, Lithuania and Lithuanians! I am happy to come here. Being able to be an exchange student is like a dream come true for me. I am ready to have the time of my life!

After spending a couple of months in Turkey, I want to say that I am really very happy to come here and not to some European country. Why? Because we - Lithuanians, Europeans - have endless stereotypes about Turkey and its people, we have heard many bad stories, we don't understand traditions and many, many things are unclear. So living here I can see with my own eyes…
