The Norwegian ambassador will visit VMU

On Wednesday, March 26, at 3 p.m., at the Faculty of Political Sciences and Diplomacy of VMU (Gedimino str. 44-202), HE Leif Arne Ulland, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Norway to Lithuania, will give a lecture "Norway and the EU: from the inside and from the outside" (" Norway and the EU: Inside and Outside").

Norway does not belong to the European Union, but maintains close relations with it as a member of the European Economic Area and the European Free Trade Association. According to public opinion surveys, the majority of Norwegians are against joining the EU (70.8% in 2013).
