Practice in the civic initiative "I know what I choose"!
The political monitoring initiative "I know what I'm choosing" invites students of political sciences, journalism, public relations, communication, law, information technology and economics, and if possible, other specialties to perform voluntary internships in the initiative group team, implemented in 2016. Monitoring of the elections to the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania this year in August-October.
Internship tasks (according to the interests and abilities of the intern):
- organizing and participating in meetings and discussions with politicians and experts;
- analysis of parties' election programs and politicians' speeches in public space;
- preparation of election surveys;
- preparation and implementation of a communication campaign;

administration; - preparation of the first map of politicians' promises in Lithuania.
Internship participants will be invited to participate in special trainings, during which they will get to know in detail the activities of the initiative and improve their abilities in their respective fields of work.
During your internship, you will not only get to know the public and non-governmental sectors better, but you will also contribute to a civic initiative promoting the transparency of Lithuanian politics and the accountability of politicians to voters, as well as the conscious and deliberate choice of voters and the creation of a long-term dialogue between politicians and society.
We offer a flexible internship work schedule that can be combined with other jobs or studies. In case of need and desire, the practice period can be changed and combined.
The organizer of the internship and the coordinator of the "I know what I'm choosing" initiative is the public institution "Europos namai", which has been working in the fields of non-formal education of youth and strengthening citizenship for 17 years.
