A student whose first-cycle and integrated studies are state-financed, after the end of the year of study, retains state funding for studies, if his/her study achievements correspond to the requirements of a good student's studies established in the Law on Science and Studies of the Republic of Lithuania achievement criterion, i.e. if he/she has no academic debts, has fulfilled all the requirements of the study program during the evaluation period and has reached an excellent or typical level of study achievement.
A student who has academic debts or whose study achievements meet the threshold level loses state funding for studies. A student who has lost state funding must pay for his/her studies the tuition fee set in the student admission rules approved by the university in the year of admission, and the vacant state-funded study place is best taken in the same field of study, in the same course and according to a student studying the same form of study at a place not financed by the state, meeting the criteria for good learning.

If you fail the exam (getting an exam grade lower than 5) or fail to attend the exam for a valid reason, you have the right to retake the exam once. Replay is free.
If you receive a negative assessment of the colloquium (less than 5), or if you do not attend the colloquium for a valid reason, you can retake it once free of charge, but no later than within 3 weeks of the settlement. If several colloquiums are planned for the study subject, only one with the highest weight can be retaken.
If you fail to attend an exam or other settlement without an important justifiable reason, or if you act dishonestly during the settlement, the exam or other settlement cannot be rescheduled or held at another time.
If you fail the exam, you have the right to retake it once for free. If, after retaking the exam, the final grade of the subject is lower than 5, you will receive a debt for the study subject and will have to repeat the studies of that subject, paying the price of credits determined by the Rector's order.
The retaking of exams is organized by the relevant departments after the end of the exam session, at the time specified in the academic calendar. In order to postpone (delay) the exam session, the student must contact the dean(s) of his/her faculty or the chancellor(s) of the academy - they decide whether the session can be postponed. The exam session can be postponed: no later than March 1 in the fall semester, no later than August 31 in the spring semester. If you want to delay the exam session for an even longer time, it is decided by the vice-rector of studies. It is not possible to advance the exam session.

If you were unable to attend the exam(s) during the session due to important justifiable reasons, the dean of the faculty or the chancellor of the academy may postpone the taking of those exams by decree: in the fall semester no later than March 1, in the spring semester no later than as of August 31 The student or his/her authorized persons must inform about the reasons for absence before the end of the exam session. Also for dishonest behavior during any settlement where a final grade of 0 (zero) is recorded in the study result sheet. Yes. All students can get a state-sponsored loan, regardless of whether they have a disability.
There are 3 types of state-sponsored loans:
Most often, students with individual needs receive a loan to pay the tuition fee and/or a loan to cover living expenses. If the application is completed in the fall semester, the loan to pay the tuition fee can be granted to pay the fee for the entire academic year. In order to pay for the spring semester, a certificate of student status must be submitted to the bank and the remaining amount of the tuition fee is transferred to the university. If the application for a loan is completed in the spring, in this case it is possible to get a loan only to pay the tuition fee of the spring semester and only half of the maximum loan to cover living expenses. Applications for loans are filled out anew every academic year.
Terms and conditions valid from 01.01.2021. for received loans:
Borrower is exempted from loans obtained under one study contract to pay the tuition fee and for partial studies according to international (interagency) agreements or the return of their part, if to him 0-45 % performance level set. A loan granted with state funds or a loan supported by the state is not repaid upon the death of the borrower.
A student who has already been exempted from loan repayment can apply to the university and request a tuition fee discount. The tender for receiving tax benefits is announced publicly in the official on the university's website at the beginning of each study semester for the current study semester. Students with individual needs not only can participate in the competition and be selected to go to Erasmus+ studies or practice abroad, but have the opportunity to receive additional funding, which will cover expenses incurred in connection with disability or individual needs, during Erasmus+ internships or studies abroad.

VMU Great Hall for individuals for those who move with the help of a wheelchair - partially adapteds: there is an elevator from the 1st floor lobby to the 2nd floor, and from the 2nd floor lobby to the Great Hall, people can use the equipped elevator. The elevator is located on the left side of the entrance to the hall (after taking the elevator to the 2nd floor, turn to the entrance on the right). People with mobility impairments can enter the Great Hall, but there is still no way to get to the stage independently (there are stairs near the stage, which you cannot climb on your own with a wheelchair).
